About the online map
The interactive map will take a moment to load - there are a lot of "green" resources in our area! Because it's interactive, many people in our community can be a part of the process and help determine which sites should appear on the map. This online version is hosted by a site called "CommunityWalk" and interfaces with Google Maps for map background. Thanks for viewing the map. Please feel free to suggest any changes or additions. Your input makes this a more valuable resource. (greenmap @ gistrainingsource.com).

Printed Version of Pikes Peak Green
Map
Work on a printed version is underway. Mapping is being done in a Geographic Information System (ArcGIS 9) and using GPS and related technologies as well as good old fashioned feet-on-the-pavement. The initial maps will be shown online monthly beginning June 1st this year. The printed edition will be on recycled paper, will be freely distributed to the public, and will be useful for Colorado Springs residents as well as tourists or those considering visiting/relocating to the area.
We are looking for potential sponsors for the printing of the map. If you are interested, please contact (greenmap @ gistrainingsource.com).
